This cosmetic fault occurred in transit from the supplier and otherwise the instrument is new and unused. Hand-Crafted Rosewood For Variety Of Timbres A variety of tones can be produced by each of the hand-crafted Rosewood bars , traditionally the preferred material choice for percussion enthusiasts. If you are after very fast runs and passages to compliment a stirring section, hit the ends of the bars for a more suitable timbre. Different types of mallet will also generate different sounds - two hard mallets will create a dry character, whereas softer rubber mallets produce muted chords with a soft, warm tone.
