YAMAHA AES 800B ELECTRIC GUITAR WITH BIGSBY, DIMARZIO'S ETC. NEAR MINT This is a Yamaha AES 800B guitar in near mint condition and full and proper working order. It has DiMarzio Q-100 hum cancelling soap bar pickups and a five way switch which gives some unique tones by swapping the phase and coil of each pickup with a second tone pot (details below). It also has a genuine Bigsby tremolo tailpiece. The body is alder and virtually unblemished, the neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard with nickel frets - no wear to either. The machine heads are good quality and work well . This is a fantastic guitar, well set up and great to play and an amazing sound. Lots of information on the net (some below) but please ask if you have any questions. SWITCH POSITIONS/THIRD CONTROL1: neck full humbucker?2: neck single + bridge single (parallel, in phase), "coil cut" pot enabled (rear pickup goes through the third control which passes the signal through a .047 cap on the third tone pot -- note the main tone control is still also engaged, and cuts through a .022 cap)?3: neck HB, bridge HB (out of phase)?4: bridge full humbucker, with a .047 cap engaged (darker tone)?5: bridge full humbucker (opposite orientation/phase of 4)
