Yamaha FG-403MS, dreadnought-style body, solid sitka spruce top, nato back and sides, round sound-hole with multi-ring rosette, body binding, nato neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, rosewood bridge, mahogany headstock overlay with logo and design inlay, three-per-side diecast chrome tuners, rosewood bridge, black pickguard, Natural Matte finish. The entire FG Series acoustic guitars was improved for 2002 to feature solid tops, diecast tuners, thinner necks, easier playability, and a variety of new finishes. The very same model as played by the legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist, Jimmy Page! Jimmy auctioned his for a children’s charity and it sold for 420,000 Thai Baht (about £8,400). You too could have the very same model and I would accept offers much less than £8,400 (although if someone wants to offer that much I will not disappoint you by not accepting!). Not only could you have the very same model of this excellent guitar, mine has not been vandalised with graffiti like the one Mr Page was flogging! If nothing else, watch and listen to the video, at least you will know what the guitar sounds like! Bought new some years ago with the age old intention of learning to play, of course, work, time, beer, the cat etc., got in the way so has never been played!
