Up for auction is this fantastic Yamaha SG 3000 Custom guitar. Made in Japan in the early 1980s. Spinex humbuckers. Push/push coil tapping. Ebony fingerboard. Has lacquer clouding on the back of the body, which is pretty common with these early models. Also has a number of knocks and dings on the back of the body and some on the front, as you would expect of a 30 year old guitar that has been played and enjoyed. As you can see none of these detracts from the overall aesthetics of this beautiful instrument. Original hard shell case in very good condition. Frets, fingerboard, neck, headstock, hardware and electronics are all in very good condition. Just been professionally set up with PRS gauge 0.10 set, so plays and sounds fantastic. 100% original to my knowledge. NO breaks, cracks or repairs. Only selling because I am more of a Telecaster guy and don't have the space / money, otherwise, I would definitely hang on to this one, particularly given the rate at which these guitars are shooting up in value. Rare to see this guitars up for auction in the UK, so don't let this one pass you by!
