Sadly up for auction ismy Vintage Yamaha SG200 in 'Brown Burst'. I have had it since new, purchase in spring1985 from City music in Truro. Srl No is KY01065 (manufacture date =1st November 1984) It features Twin Humbuckers with tone and volume control for each plus 3 way switching. Electrics all in good order. This is the 'plain' model of the series, no fancy-dan bindings or gold plated hardware, which if you ask me adds to its appeal. It looks like and is a good old fashioned 'guitar! One of the features most commented on in reviews is that the neck has a lovely feel to it.You'll probably know that these are very well constructed instruments using nice materials. It is in good condition for age with a minimum of scuffs and scratches to show for its 27 years! However it does have two very minor dents in the body, (One just below the bridge and one below the bridge pick up volume control) and a couple of minor chips to the varnish (edge of body, corner of stock and underside of neck between frets 2+3. I have tried to show these in the photos.It has not been played much over the last 5 years, so would probably probably benefit from a professional setup.
