This bass guitar has served me well, I've had it since 1997 and although now discontinued this bass is a top investment. Financial reasons mean I have to sell, but I'm looking for some one who wants to really get the best out of an instrument.As you can see from the pictures the bass is in brilliant condition and only has minor cosmetic damage through use. It has some scratches on the back and a chip around the jack imput (you can blame the corner of a table for that).This is an active bass with plenty of control tonally - whether you play metal, dub or rock this bass has great punch and mind boggling bottom end.The Yamaha 5-control Active System Electronics. the custom 3 band EQ gives the TRBs extensive tonal versatility. It has the 3 position Midrange control, with user tweakable settings, facilitates fast and repeatable presets. The TRB5 features the Yamaha all-access bolt-on neck joint. This type of neck and neck-joint are true classics for good reason: enhanced punch, and defined attack.
