Authentic Yankee stadium chair from the 1923 opening of the house that Ruth built. In two pieces that interlock, the die cast metal is exceptionally heavy. Has not been refinished since being removed from the stadium. Chair can stand alone without support and has no cracks or fractures, just paint deterioration as expected after 8 decades. In my families possession for over 20 years. Does have the famous number 15 (Munson) stenciled on the front. As expected paint is frayed and chipped in certain areas but Chair has no flaws. Collectors strongly recommend not refinshing items of such value and historical significance. Starting price is 1/2 of lowest on ebay. Shipping cost is do the extreme weight of chair. No handling fees or excess added.
