Very nice assortment of 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am toy cars. These were made by Yatming between 1979 and 1982. The white and the blue with red "bird" are marked "C1981 Universal Studios". The others are all marked "C1979 UA Corp". All feature opening doors. This is a nice find for a Firebird collector, as you rarely find them in colors other than black. I remember the TV commercials back then for the other-than-black Trans Ams. The red was called the "Redbird, the blue was the "Skybird", the yellow was the "Sunbird", and the white was the "Snowbird". These are excellently scaled molds too. I will describe them as follows: White with black interior, medium blue with maroon interior and red bird, black with cream interior and gold outlined bird, yellow with black interior and red outlined black bird, light blue with cream interior and blue outlined bird, and red with cream interior and gold outlined black bird. The red one has a couple of stress cracks in the rear window, and the black one has a few flea bite chips, but otherwise they are all in excellent displayable condition. I have other 1/65th scale Trans Ams on this week, along with some Camaro Z-28s from the same era too.Payment through Paypal only, within three days of auction end.
