Carnelian limb casts commonly known as "yellowcat redwood". These very rare and beautiful cast specimens are found near the yellow cat area in Grand County,Utah. A mirror polish and detailed preparation of the external wood structure make these a great addition to any mineral collection. SMALL LIMB SECTION: Two polished faces on this small limb - very nice multi-color fortification - permineralized remnants and silica combination in lower portion of face - flawless rind - very light sealed fractures in each face - clarity and depth is much better than photos show.
