We gift-wrap. This listing is an Yellow Esterbrook Purse Pen Set with a nice NOS 1555 nib. The pen has been completely restored with a new bladder, and if necessary, a new pressure bar as well. The barrel and tip have both been thoroughly cleaned and polished and the pen is ready to write. There is lead in the pencil. This is a very pretty set, the yellows are even on both the pen and pencil. The little case makes it DEE-VINE. The Esterbrook series of fountain pens are amongst the most popular pens being collected today. Praised for their affordability, these pens can be transformed by simply changing the screw-in nib. There are 33 nibs that comprise the 1000, 2000, and 9000 series of nibs. These are the most plentiful nibs still in circulation (with the exception of dip pen nibs - there were millions of those made). The selection and choices of screw-in nibs came directly from the most popular Esterbrook dip pen nibs. Even rarer today are the 3000 and 8000 series of screw-based nibs.
