Yellowstone Geysers by Clyde Max Bauer, Ph.D., published by Haynes, Inc., illustrated by Jack Ellis Haynes. Revised edition 1947. 125 pages, many photographs of the more prominent geysers in the park. Green cloth hardcover, no jacket. G+ Condition with only some light foxing on endpapers and pastedowns. No names or writing. Part of the dustjacket is still intact and was inserted into books pages when I found it. From the front panel: This interesting and instructive volume profusely illustrated, makes available to the public for the first time the recent scientific knowledge of these magnificent and puzzling manifestations of Nature. Written in popular form and non-technical language it answers many of the frequent questions of the Park visitor.
