The New Yorker Magazine, July 21, 2008, complete issue in perfect shape; the rarest variant and only complete, unmarred cover image version of this issue. This issue is famous for the controversial cover showing Barack and Michelle Obama as Muslims fist-bumping in the White House, a portrait of possibly Osama Bin Laden over the fireplace mantle in the background.This is the complete issue in flawless Mint condition with NO mailing label (it never had one- it was not peeled away later) and amazingly NO UPC code either- it was intended to be a subscription issue (thus was not printed with a UPC at the lower left) but was somehow never sent to the shipping department (thus no shipping label either-- and NO glue where a label would have eventually gone-- unlike the others you'll see on ebay where the sellers have peeled away as much of the label as they could, thus leaving the glue lines visible), making this an unintended extremely rare variant which, unlike every other one out there, is the only one that shows the ENTIRE COVER due to the absence or either UPC or mailing label. It was put away new by a dedicated New Yorker collector, from whom we recently obtained it. Strictly graded Mint. We have several other key New Yorkers on ebay now so please take a look.
