This portrait is an "Original Artist's Proof", signed and dated by the artist Edward R. Klein as an artist's proof, 1986. The portrait was gifted to Yorkshire Terrier Wisconsin Rescue, Inc. from the estate of the artist. The portrait is unframed, is in excellent condition and measures 14" X 18". The digital pictures do not do it justice. The proof does not have any shadowing or darkened background. The background is off-white and depicts the Yorkshire Terrier as a puppy and as an adult in full show coat. A brief biography about the artist, on parchment like 8.5" X 11" scroll stationery, is included free of charge. Items framed in complimentary or matching frames makes a lovely setting. I have included a picture of my own framed print, taken at an angle so t would be no glare or flash reflection. Please help us help Maggie. Maggie came to Yorkshire Terrier Wisconsin Rescue, Inc. as a stray from the local animal control center on August 28, 2006 Maggie's ears will never get "better" without surgery, most likely requiring the surgical removal of the inner and outer ear canals in both ears.
