For sale today is a flatware set made by Yourex, Lady Francis Pattern. From my research I believe this set to be from the early to mid 1920's. I know this pattern was discontinued by 1925This set comes in a nice wooden box with the knives in the lid, and the spoons in the bottom drawer, walnut color (medium brown). I don't see any damage, or heavy scratches. T is some minor wear, possibly from use, or just from age. T is some age grime, and a little tarnish. I am pretty sure it could be cleaned easily, but I'm not an expert, and unsure if you clean silverseal the same way you can clean and polish silver. As I said, I feel it can be cleaned and polished by someone who knows the right process and products to use. All I see in places is some tarnish, no pitting. All pieces except the knives have PAT APD. FOR YOUREX SILVERSEAL stamped on them. 2 of the knives have yourex stamped on the edge of the handle, the rest have yourex stamped on the flat of the handle. The set contains the following12 knives12 forks19 spoons18 soup spoons1 butter knife3 sugar spoons (the spoons that are squarish) one of these spoons was not included in the box,but I bought it at the same auction. It has either some very read more
