Thank you for viewing my Little List of Items. Rare pair of Large Organic Modernist earrings by Yukihiro Shibata from my personal collection. 1980's. Fairly large and heavy. See measurements below. I think these are probably sterling silver but the content is unmarked. Shibata was known for not marking the metal content of his pieces. Of all his pieces that I have seen, I have never seen one that was actually marked sterling. Overall very nice vintage condition with small signs of wear and with a small dimpled area at the top of one earring (see photo) which is not noticeable from the front.
