Payment | Shipping YUMA PRISON ARIZONA BALL & CHAIN! LEG IRONS & CUFFS! NR This auction is for a Yuma Prison Ball & Chain. It is a solid steel iron set weighing 18 pounds unpacked. The ball says Yuma Prison on the top. This set includes the ball and chains hooked to leg irons or leg cuffs. This set of restraints is in good condition and has the key and is in working order. Both leg restraint cuffs do lock and unlock and the key works for both restraints. The key is numbered but I'm not sure what that means if anything maybe the inmate number. T is some rust as seen in my photos but not bad. The ball measures 15" around and it has a forged iron ring hook at the top of the ball that connects to the chains 26 1/2" long that connect to 2 ankle irons or cuffs. These were used on inmates during transportation or to limit their movement such as working on a chain gang. I bought the ball and chain at an estate sale and it came with no paperwork or documentation. Since I do not have any background on it I'm selling it as you see it with no claims to age or authenticity that is came from the actual Yuma Prison. This is a great and unusual item for any collection! Low starting bid and never a reserve on any of my auctions.
