Studying with Robert Motherwell, Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman, and others at the "Subject of the Artist" school, and became a member of the famed "New York School". This serigraph print, in bold primary colors of red-orange, blue, and yellow, uses overlapping fields of color to magnificent effect. Image size is 24 7/8 inch (about 63 cm) wide by 26 3/4 inch (68 cm) tall. Signed in pencil at lower right "9/50 Yvonne Thomas 1967". Mounted in a heavy plastic sleeve, with hanging hardware on back if hanging as-is, or can be framed and matted as desired by new owner. In very good condition, with a few tiny edge nicks to image but no apparent fading, foxing, or other damage.
