This is Zassenhaus' current top of the line manual coffee grinder (model 169DG). It is extremely hard to get these days - no one seems to have it in stock! This one is gently used. I bought it a couple of years ago and used only when I made espresso and cappuccino with Bialetti stove top makers. The Zassenhaus hand coffee grinder is a premium grade burr coffee mill designed for daily use and reliable, consistent operation. This hand coffee grinder is far superior to the low-cost "decorative"grinders that are commonly available. Each Zassenhaus manual coffee grinder is crafted from select hardwoods and features a precision grinder mechanism machined from high-carbon, hardened tool steel. The grinding cone is positioned at the exact center of the grinding ring using cam followers which guarantees wonderfully consistent grinding results. Your coffee beans are processed into an aromatic and soft powder with no heat build-up during the grinding process so the flavor is preserved.It has been very well taken care of, and walnut finish wood body has no visible defection. Neither has the iron parts, and the blade is sharp as new.
