A BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC ZEISS SUPER IKONTA C. MODEL 531/2. Made between 1936-1950.With original Zeiss leather ever-ready case. The camera takes 6x9cms. pictures on 120 roll film.Lens is f3.8. 10.5cms. Tessar which dates the camera up to 1938. Shutter is Compur Rapid with max. speed of 1/400.Cosmetically the camera is in fine condition with lovely outer leather covering, excellent black leather bellows and excellent carrying handle.All the chrome plated parts are in superb condition. The camera interior is in good clean condition.The lens is useable, has no fungus, no balsam separation, just slightly haziness which probably could be cleaned off.Albada viewfinder is useable, but slightly hazy. Rangefinder is clear and second image aligns perfectly.Shutter works at all speeds and sounds accurate.The case is generally in good condition, has had some repairs/modifications during its life, but is attractive and perfectly useable.Altogether a great, useable, classic and beautiful camera.
