Zell Baden Majolica Basketweave Plate Cherry, Berry This auction is for a lovely hand painted G.S. Zell Baden majolica fruit plate with a basket weave background and raised designs of leaves, branches and cherries and blackberries. The plate is 9.25 inches in diameter and is in very good condition. T are two tiny areas of wear - a minimal very tiny scuff at the end of a leaf and a tiny spot of missing purple glaze on one of the blackberries (see photos). T is one small production variation - a circular spot that looks like a glaze bubble that popped. T are no cracks and no chips on the rim. The plate displays beautifully. The plate is marked on the back with a G.S. Zell Baden marking and some impressed numbers and symbols. Thanks for looking. No reserve.
