This radio for auction is the Zenith Tombstone model 6S-27 frm 1936It is very simular to the baby stratosp with the shelf style speaker grille This radio is completely original It has never been altered or restored This is a large tombstone at 22" tall The radio cabinet is very solid ,The speaker grill has some pieces missing T are no knobs ,but I am selling 1 original zenith knob in another auction The radio power cord was bad ,so it was removed I attached a power cord from another radio to it to check this one all the tubes lilt up and t was sound from the speaker but I did not have an antenna on it or ground and these need those to work properly I could not get any stations ,so I would consider it not working as I am not a radio tech The radio has the origal sticker on the bottom and the original srencil model # on the back edge The dial is n good condition as is the dial glass The speaker has a tear in it as shown in the photo This radio was found in a house and had not been looked at in many years These models are are some of the most sought after of the Zenith tomstones Restore it or leave it original If you have any questions on condition please ask before bidding Also please check out the photos This radio would be an easy one to restore with a little bit of time spent on the grill area Thanks for looking and good luck T read more
