T are several distinguishing characteristics which identify the 1941 Replica-the 1941 case has flat planes with sharp, less rounded edges w the front and back surfaces meet the sides, and the lid and bottom are joined with a four-barrel hinge, rather than the current 5-barrel. The inside unite closely replicates the design of the original 1941 model inside unit as well. Straight, flat sides meet the front and back surfaces with squared edges. The chimney has fewer holes, and a hollow rivet holds the striking wheel in place. An exclusive bottom stamp authenticates the 1941 Replica models.
