Decorative box made of Zoisite from liviging room from the estate of Maria Callas with authenticity certificate This stunning piece of history comes from the estate of the worlds iconic soprano, Maria Callas. This item was a highlight in the auction on December 2 and 3, 2000, by Calmels Chambre Cohen. The auction, MARIA CALLAS: SOUVENIRS D' UNE LEGENDE , had bidders from all over the world. This was lot number 387 and had a full page picture devoted to it; page 392 of the catalog. The picture shows Callas standing by the fireplace in her Paris apartment, and the box proudly displayed on the living room table. The description from the catalog reads, "Green box in zoisite, silver and vermeil. This box was in the principal living room of Maria Callas' Paris apartment." This item comes with the ORIGINAL authenticity certificate from Calmels-Chambre-Cohen.
