ca 1890-1910, red and black-on-white and potted with globular form, tapering neck, and concave base. Band around neck with diamond, alununanne and neweyulinne design representing the bird slings used by boys and face painting of the Newekwe Society. These designs abut "stripes with points" representative of the thunder-knife (Bunzel 1972:110). Double spirit break line on shoulder, body with two rows of four "Deer in His House" divided horizontally by a solid line and vertically by two large hepakinne "sunflower" medallions, height 9" x diameter 12". > Condition: Surface abrasion around rim, small nicks on lip.
