Zuni Native American Indian Serpentine Turquoise Fox Running Down Hill Fetish Signed Calvin Weeka The detail on this piece is fantastic so bid with confidence! This beautiful fox fetish was carved Zuni artist Calvin Weeka and his initials " C D W " and "Zuni" are carved on the bottom of the fetish. The fox measures 2 1/2 inches tall, 2 inches long, 3/4 inch wide. The fox's eyes are turquoise inlay, the body of the fox is serpentine. A gift box is included with purchase. The fox represents camouflage; protection. American Indians have used fetishes throughout history, especially the Southwestern Indians. A fetish is considered to have magical powers.
