Suzanne McBrayer, also known as Bisque Beauties, created this lovely Bleuette reproduction doll. It is based in the 6/0 doll, which was manufactured by German firm Fleischman and Bloedel. This doll was made and sold as Bleuette from 1905 to 1914.The doll has inset blue eyes, cork pate, mohair brunette wig and composition body. Her pate had to be reglued as the cork tore at the original glue spots. Her stringing is loosening; she is 12 years old. She has been displayed in a smoke-free home in an enclosed cabinet.
