Mytchett Green is an exhibiton standard 00 gauge layout that can be seen at the National Festival of Railway Modelling on 26/27th March 2011 at Alexandra Palace. The layout is 5ft x 2ft and is contained on 1 baseboard with a separate 1ft high table stand The track is code 100 on copper clad sleepers and is fully sectioned. It is a basic dogbone with a reverse loop and siding. The power can be switched from 2 rail operation to live overhead with the facility for automatic running ( live overhead only). A full scenic diorama has been built to include shops, houses,gardens, park and band stand. There are also working traffic lights. Street lights are Viessmann ornamental working lamp standards which give enough light to operate the layout in the dark creating a realistic Edwardian scene. Included in the sale are 4 B Class trams and a LT formally Erith balcony car. Power is provided by a Gaugemaster feedback controller with the provision to plugin a hand held controller. 3 short videos can be seen on youtube if you type in Mytchett Green Tramway
