Here is a lovely antique German bisque, open mouth socket head doll head made by Ernst Heubach, Koppelsdorf, Germany about 1910. The head is 5-1/2” tall, 11” in circumference and 6” socket. It is incised Heubach Koppelsdorf, 321-0, Germany. The head needs a good cleaning – there is glue residue around the perimeter of the skull opening from previous wig application and pate cover. The blue glass sleep eyes have fur lashes that prevent the eyes from closing completely. She has multi-stroke eyebrows, gently blushed cheeks, pierces nostrils, open mouth with upper teeth showing. The head is offered “as is” as pictured and described.
