Antique Limoges CORONET Dinner Plate SetBeautifully decorated, ten piece, Limoges plate set is white porcelain with gold encrusted, geometric band decoration. Each plate has two stamps, and they are quite interesting. There is a green underglaze, Limoges, France, Mark 6 that dates to 1891. The other stamp is a green overglaze stamp from Coronet, which is an American company that was owned by George Borgfeldt in New York who's porcelain standards were of fine quality. The stamp has the word, "trademark" above the crown which means the mark is from the 1920's. This is a set to appreciate since it's a 1891, Limoges blank porcelain plate set that was made 30 years before it was decorated and commissioned in the 1920's for export to the USA. Buyer will receive TEN dinner plates. 10-1/4" diameter. Set will be professionally package with care. Priority and Parcel Post is offered.
