11 GORHAM STERLING SILVER KING GEORGE BREAKFAST KNIVES Presented is a fine set of 11 sterling silver breakfast knives by the Gorham Manufacturing Company. The knives are done in the King George pattern which was first produced in 1894. The knives are monogrammed MTW on the tip of the handle. They are completely sterling silver, both the handles and the blades. The knives are hallmarked on the blades with Gorham's old company hallmarks and Sterling. The handles are marked with J. E. Caldwell & Co for the retailer. The condition is excellent. The knives have some very minor surface wear commensurate with light use, but this is quite minor. A few of the knives have small dings on the blades. These are not very noticeable. T are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs. PLEASE NOTE: The black or white spots and lines you see on the silver in some of the photos are the reflection of the lights or camera lens. They are not flaws or damages. The knives are 8 3/8 inches long. The total weight is 822 grams or 28.8 ounces.
