Up for auction is a 12 Apostles Catholic Chalice in 24kt gold plating over solid sterling silver. Both the cup and base have silver marks as is pictured. This is an original hundred year old chalice that was restored by Granda Liturgical Arts. They also made the locking custom built carrying case as well. The sterling silver paten is not original to the chalice and shows some tarnishing. There are new versions of this chalice available for $8,195 from Ecclecisatical Goods shops, however my reserve is less than half that price. This chalice comes a deceased priest's estate.
