This auction is for one dozen of the hottest NSA 44 COR 400 pound 12 inch softballs made. Coefficient of restitution (COR) measures bounce. If you throw a ball against a solid concrete wall at 100 miles per hour and it bounces back at 44 miles per hour you have a 44 COR ball. . Pounds of compression measures hardness. If it takes 400 pounds of pressure to compress a softball one quarter of an inch, we label it a 400 pound ball. We have figured a way to beat the pounds of compression with a multilayer ball. This ball plays like a 525 pound ball. It feels soft to the touch but watch it fly. A.D. Starr is now making the absolute best performing balls. The cover is made of composite leather. We take leather and grind it up, mix it with a composite resin and lay it in sheets. This makes the best cover ever. It stretches very tight, retards moisture, feels like leather and becomes very durable. You are bidding on a one dozen box and each ball is indiviually wrapped in cellophane.
