These classic antique 14 K gold drop circle dangle earrings, with chased design, belonged to my grandmother and date approximately 1880 or earlier. My grandmother loved New York's jewelry district. The weight of the gold is 7.5 grams. When they were passed down to me, I had them converted to pierced earrings. I will include jeweler's backings with them. When my husband took the pictures, he felt that the backings took away from the elegance of the earrings. I am selling them, and a lot of jewelry on eBay because my husband and I are very short on funds. These gorgeous earrings are in excellent, flawless, unscratched condition. They are marked 14 K (and for people searching I will add the words 14 carats). T is a picture of the mark but it's such a close-up, so I hope you can see it. They are stunning, as shiny as could be and dangle beautifully, and not in the least heavily. The backings will keep them in perfect place. They measure 1 and 3/4 inches from the the top to the bottom. The circles themselves measure 1 inch in diameter. Everything about them is flawless. I hope you can see the beauty of their intricate design. The pictures, I believe, show that well. I can't imagine you not loving these, but I will give you a complete refund, including your shipping fee, if you don't care for them. Ten years ago, I sold quite a bit of my mother's, grandmother's jewelry, silver, china etc. I had over 500 all positive feedback which I unfortunately can't retrieve, probably because it was so long ago. My point is that I learned all about jewelry (at least mine) and eBay and tfore never overprice my items. I'm sure it's hard to trust someone you don't know, but I truly am selling my items at way, way below their value because of our financial situation. PLEASE NOTE: I love answering questions.
