This beautiful girl is a mystery to me, as she is completely unmarked. I believe she may be Roberta or Roberta Ann.Roberta stands just under 15 inches tall and is completely strung, with sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, red lips, am open mouth with four teeth visible, and blushed cheeks. The plastic is lighter weight than what I'm used to with most hard plastic dolls from the 1950s. Her saran wig is still pinned into the original set, but the stitched part is disintegrating, and will need to be restitched by hand in order to keep some of the hair at the crown from unraveling (see pictures). Her eyes are very unusual and very pretty!Roberta still has her original stringing. Her head and legs are strung together and are still reasonably tight, but her arms (which are strung separately) are loose. She has some wear on her body as shown in the pictures, probably because I found her in a big bin at the thrift store (!).Roberta comes from a pet-friendly, smoke free home.
