This is the big rope. Makes a great climbing rope too. The Baltic Birch is naturally water proof to and will last for a very long time. I have made ans sold over 500 swings and have had no returns. Put this swing on a strong 6 to 8 inch branch and swing away. The higher and longer the rope the bigger the ride. Compare what you are buying, You will get your moneys worth with this rope swing. You get a big swing for your money. You get a 16 inch disc seat that even us big kids can ride. This swing is easy to hold on to and safe. Most other disc swings only offer a 3/8th to 1/2 inch rope and t made of nylon, plastic or cotton and they stretch. The other wood swings some have birch but its not Baltic and the wood is weaker and I am the only one that offers a 1 inch thick disc. I have to make the 1 inch Its not sold anyw It may cost more but it cost me more. I tried all of these ropes when I started making these swing and the kids had a very hard time holding on. You get a 16 inch seat that is perfectly round and routed for a comfortable ride. I us 20 ply birch and it will not crack or brake. I use a 1 inch thick manila rope and its easy to hold on too and is very safe. I coat the ends of the rope with rubber to prevent fraying. I prime the seats and then put 3 to 4 coats of spray paint .
