THIS is an antique religious medal dating from the 1700s or earlier. It is heavily tarnished and may be brass, bronze or copper. The obverse features the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus holding the world, both are crowned. The reverse depicts the Holy Face of Christ. Measures just over 1/2 inch wide, just over 5/8 inch tall not including top loop or bail. AND PEACE BE WITH YOU! Check out my other items ! We guarantee our items are described accurately, and we encourage you to have all precious metals confirmed at a jeweler's if you so desire. Occasionally, we may sell a medal that is marked "heavy silver tone metal" that is in fact sterling silver. However, we will NEVER sell a medal described as "solid silver" that is only silver tone and not marked and/or confirmed as sterling silver. Domestic shipping is first class USPS.
