It is porcelain, showing a soldier on top of lid with lion, also the lion on the thumblift. The colorful decor on the body of the stein shows the 17th Bavarian Infantry Regiment Orff. during different maneuvers. We see Reservist Hat Ruh. Lithophane (seen when you look at light through the bottom of the stein), shows a soldier saying goodbye to his wife. It measures ~12 1/2" tall, ~6" wide with handle, and bottom diameter is ~ Good used condition.
