1800'S SIOUX INDIAN PARFLEICH BAG!!! This is a wonderful piece of antique Sioux Indian history. An antique parfleich bag! This hide piece was shaped while wet and then dried into a rigid bag shape. It is oblong shaped, folds in the center and has ties in the middle and both ends fold over to close it into a sealed container. T is decoration on the outside-triangles touching in blues and golds. Measures approx. 23" by 12 1/2" closed and 42" by 37' open. These bags were used to carry possessions like bedding, cookery, or whatever needed to be moved by horseback. The colors have faded on the decoration and it isn't in the greatest condition but is still a wonderful American Indian collectible. FABULOUS COLLECTIBLE PIECE!!!
