My eBay Listing Description SUPERB RARE SCOTTISH 'MORTON' ANTIQUE 1823/4 GEORGE 111 HALLMARKED SILVER DESERT SPOON - SHELL SHAPED MOTIF SUPER QUALITY HALLMARKED SOLID SILVER (LION PASSANT) DESERT SPOON. THE SPOON WAS MADE IN SCOTLAND (THE THISTLE) IN EDINBURGH (THREE TOWERS) IN 1823 ( DATE LETTER LOWER CASE 'r' IN A SHAMFERED CORDERD SQAURE LOZENGE). THE SPOON IS IN OVERALL GOOD CONDITION WITH WEAR TO T THE INTIALS MONGRAM OR INITALS IS A CROWN OVER THE INTIAL VR ~ SEE PHOTOS TO JUDGE THE CONDITION FOR YOURSELF.
