By Timothy Pitkin. Published in New Haven by Hezekiah Howe and Durrie & Peck, 1828. First edition. Volume 2 only of a two volume set. Pages are foxed and there is intermittent staining to the lower outer corner, with text unaffected. Good condition.Covers American history beginning in 1775 and the American Revolution, through the meeting of the first Congress under the Constitution, George Washington re-elected as President, and his farewell at the end of his term in office.
