The coins ended up being silver war nickels that she was going to add to her piggy bank, but I fortunately decided to salvage them from her. This situation sparked my interest in the coin business and furthered me to starting a Lincoln Wheat Cent collection. In the process of collecting Lincoln Wheat Cents I also started selling my duplicates on eBay and going through hundreds of thousands(literally) of Wheat Cents! Most people at this time would say that I must have caught the 'Coin Bug,' ;-).During high school I started trying to learn the coin business by selling on eBay and eventually began the show circuit. After high school I furthered my education at the Oregon Coast Community College in Newport, Oregon and earned my associates degree in Business (while continuing my coin passion).
