(1842-1850) G$1 A. Bechtler Dollar, 27G. 21C., Plain Edge MS62 PCGS. K-24, R.3. Orange-rose shades enrich this lovely and evenly struck Bechtler type coin. Magnified examination fails to locate noticeable contact, but a thin line is present on the denomination side border between 1 and 6 o'clock. The fields are semiprooflike and attractive. The Plain Edge variant is the most often seen for this issue, ideal for type collectors. Listed on page 399 of the 2020 Guide Book.
