1843 Columbia, Arkansas stampless folded letter Great Cotton Plantation Content Writes an early founder of Rodney, Mississippi Excellent early plantation owner content in this detailed 2 page stampless folded letter written November 27, 1843 by (last name Carter) in Columbia, Arkansas and sent to his friend and business associate Mr. Hatter Nutt - one of the first settlers in the historic river town of Rodney, Mississippi. This letter was posted only 8 years after Arkansas Territory became a state.
