An original antique, circa 1850-1854 gray glazed stoneware jug impressed at the shoulder Henry, Van Allen & Palmer / Phoenix Pottery / Hudson-Street / Albany N.Y.. The jug measures approximately 11 3/4" tall and is 6 3/4" in diameter. The pottery operated under this partnership from 1850-54. Condition - essentially perfect free of any form of damage. A very nice exceptionally clean early Albany New York stoneware jug which is fresh to the market from a very old estate.
