This isa4 piece group of19th porcelain. It is Staffordshire transferware, c. 1840-1850. All over blue and white decoration, in the Romantic scenes genre popular at that time.The Patterns include "Spanish Villa","Italian Lakes","Blantyre" and another unnamed scene with oxen. All pieces have chips and damage, the bowl has a chuck out of it, (as pictures show), all pieces have rim chips, but still they make a nice statement for display as group of 4 early examples of this type of ware, at a very reasonable price. The feeding dish has opening so that hot water can be added to keep food warm while eating or serving. Total weight is 8 1/2 lbs. without packing material. Feeding dish measures 11 1/2" wide, platter measures 11" wide, serving bowl (Spanish Villa) measures 13" wide and Italian lakes footed bowl measures 12 1/2" wide.
