Up for bid is one OLD Blob Top Iron Pontil Soda Bottle . Lightly embossed Around Body: " M McCORMACK " over " THIS BOTTLE IS NEVER SOLD ". Vernon Grant's Richmond Bottle Book lists a M. McCormack - bottler of soda & porter - in business in Richmond, Virginia from 1852 - 1861. Applied Blob Top, Nice Iron Pontil Mark, dates to 1850's, measures 7 1/2 in. tall and is in Good Condition, no chips, Great Color, only a "freeze" crack - NO Glass missing (see last Pic.). Will make a nice addition to any Collection, or Great Gift for that Collector on your List. Buyer to pay $8.95 for secure packing and shipping within the U. S.
