RARE 1854 HISTORY OF USA AMERICA 2 VOLUMES HILDRETH 1ST Description: From 1854, 7 years before the Civil War started, this is History of the United States of America, by Richard Hildreth, in two volumes. Published by Harper & Brothers, New York. Each book is 9 and a half by 6 inches. Bound in tan embossed cloth, with gilt titles. Almost 1200 pages between the two books. With marks from the Bowdoin College Library, in Maine.The books have been read and enjoyed. They show edgewear, but are in very readable condition. A great addition to your history library.
