April 10 1860 DEWITT COUNTY TEXASHand written contract between Christopher H. Taylor and a man named Rich G. Whitsell or Whitsill (I can't make the second name out Completely). See for yourself. I'm not sure if this is a member Of the Creed Taylor Family that was involved in the Taylor Sutton Bloody 10 year feud or not. I can't imagine many Taylors in 1860 in Dewitt County Texas not being related but I can't say for sure. This is a Grazing contract between the 2 men in great detail of how the cows are to be gathered and sold etc. Very neat piece of early Texas cattle ranching!!!! I took a lot of pictures so you should be able to read it for the most part. 2 Pages. The first page is the contract, The second page is the witness signatures ( C. T. Hill or Hall and A. C. S????) and the signatures of the 2 parties involved.Very Cool Piece of Early American History!!!See Photos For Condition. The papers are fragile and you can see all spots and tares. They would be very neat in a 2 sided glass display stand!OFFERS ACCEPTED!!!Recently purchased a HUGE Collection Of Western, Native American, Military, Etc. Collection.Check Back often I will be listing As I make my way through The items. Using Buy it Knows and Offers to help move it faster. Thanks for looking!!!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Just B XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
