This is a collection of original ca 1860s dug Civil War artifacts. These were found at a military collectorâe(tm)s estate sale in San Antonio, Texas; we assume that these were found with metal detector: 12 Minie balls, 2 musket balls (the iron one might be grape shot), 2 unidentified lead projectiles (one impacted from being shot), 2 grape shot (1âe diam., 1 1⁄2âe diam.), 3 pieces of lead scrap, gun part for attaching sling to rifle, 2 pieces brass (?) (one is tube-like, the other is pointed with three sides), a metal spear or lance point. Found in a box with no identification. Weighs approximately 3lbs boxed for shipping. Condition: see photos; usual wear one would expect from items that have been dug up and date to the 1830s-1860s.
