International buyers welcome!!!*** This auction is for some really important upstate NY Alexandria Bay 1000 Islands NY Documents! These documents are related to the re building of the Crossman hotel that occurred in 1873, when it upgraded from a 10 person capacity to a 300 person capacity hotel! The real star of this lot is the 2 page bill for the materials used for house, it is titled at the top "Bill of Materials for House". It is pretty interesting to read through the list, 32, 559 bricks were ordered. In one of the other pieces there is an 1873 letter what looks like AW Cheeseman to George Rounds saying that he has left a bill with Mrs Crossman but she has not paid. There is an 1873 receipt from Cheeseman to Crossman as well. There are also some receipts for H Beninger in this lot, one of particular note is to Andrew Thomson.
